Start of sales of DIMET DS orange peel grapple for scrap handlers

DIMET DS series orange peel grapple is going on sale 1 December 2020. This event was preceded by full-scale tests at the sites of our partners in Russia and North America. Following the results of the test we have made several changes to the grapples mechanics which have increased the reliability of the new equipment.

DIMET DS grapples are CE and EAC certified. They are manufactured using materials and components from global brands. For example, the grapple jaws are made of Hardox 450 steel. Among our supplier are Danfoss, ISB and other well-known manufacturers. We have also established partnerships with less well-known companies which have demonstrated production standards and excellent quality of products.

Today DS model range includes six models of 500, 600 and 800 liters of internal volume in four and five-jaw versions. Our researches have shown that these grapples are the most popular among the owners of scrap handlers.

Being presented at several expos, DIMET DS pre-production models have attracted its potential buyers who above all have noted freshness of the engineering solutions. The engineers of the DIMET group have managed to provide convenient access to the main components and assemblies of the grapple. This allows for regular monitoring of its operating conditions and maintenance. At the same time, the closed arrangement of the main elements of the hydraulic system ensures long-term operation of the grapple in harsh conditions while working with scrap metal.

The design of the attachment unit and main elements provides maximum compatibility with modern scrap handlers from the world's leading manufacturers. It is also possible to install grapples on excavators and other hydraulically driven equipment with operating pressure up to 300 bar.
