Description

The DIMET electromagnets of the EMG-NS series are designed for handling metal scrap, chips, cast iron ingots. It is a series of highly efficient round electromagnets. A heat-resistant version of the electromagnets for the hot loads (up to 650 ˚С) is also available

A glance at the most important advantages

1. Casting housing

The solid cast housing with cooling fins has a large heat transfer area to prevent overheating of the electromagnet during operation and extends the continuous operation.

2. Coil material

The high quality wire with improved insulation greatly reduces the risk of interturn short-circuit. The use of this type of coil material makes the electromagnet more reliable and particularly easy to repair, as only the coil needs to be rewound in the event of failure

3. Heat-insulating seal

Maintains optimum coil temperature during operation of the electromagnet on loads up to 650° С and ensures the stable load-carrying capacity

4. High-quality casting compound

Prevents electrical breakdown between coil wire and housing and reduces the electromagnet coil heating

5. Reinforced armor plate

Reliable protection of the coil, much longer service life of the electromagnet
