Description
A special DIMET IMGK series of electropermanent (pulsed) magnets for the handling of cold round semi-finished products one piece at a time. The magnets are of special design featuring a deep magnetic field as well as special pole supports which increase the contact area. The use of electropermanent magnets provides a high level of safety while handling the loads, because the magnetic field of these magnets is not dependent on sources of electrical energy supply.

No power is consumed when the magnet is on because the coil only needs to be energized to turn the magnet on and off.
