Description
The DIMET electromagnets of the EMG-SCRAP-V series are designed for handling metal scrap, chips, gray cast iron bars. These heavy, very powerful electromagnets have a rectangular shape and large dimensions. They are designed for wagon unloading of scrap metal. Versions for underwater work and a heat-resistant version for hot loads (up to 650 ˚С) are available.

Casting housing
The solid cast housing with cooling fins has a large heat transfer area to prevent overheating of the electromagnet during operation and extends the continuous operation.

Coil material
The high quality wire with improved insulation greatly reduces the risk of interturn short-circuit. The use of this type of coil material makes the electromagnet more reliable and particularly easy to repair, as only the coil needs to be rewound in the event of failure

Heat-insulating seal.
Maintains optimum coil temperature during operation of the electromagnet on loads up to 650° С and ensures the stable load-carrying capacity
